I left Whitesmore in 2003. im now married to another former pupil. i
miss the school and its horrible knowing its not there any more. scraggy
was the best teacher. and Miss Wallice was the best tutor, even though
she wasn't there very long. i don't see any pupils that was in my year
anymore and that isn't a bad thing apart from a few of them that i
actually liked.

Hiya every1 who remembers me i
attended this school in 1995 - 2000 these have got to have been the best yrs
of my life i miss school all my m8s getting into trouble memories i'll
never forget since then i have had some ups n downs I'm now married almost a year
and became Muslim . I had a very bad start to 2007 on January 6th I had a
very bad car crash and I thought I was for dead as i wasn't breathing i
was left partly paralyzed for few months loss of speech n I'm jus recovering
from still today but am able 2 walk n talk which is good on my part but i
guess not for others (haha) I'm also blind in my left eye due to the
accident but that's life I'm also studying to become a dentist in
September
so i would love to here from anyone that knew me during my time in school and
i wish u all the very best in future carers and life.

left whitesmore earlier than supposed to off due to family - i should
have left in 1990,i suppose not many people will remember myself or my
brother (Dennis Moss) that well. As we didn't make that many friends we
were not allowed to really - may i say for the people i did get to know
thank you, there were a few teachers who were kind for that was good. I
had a mental health breakdown to this day i am still trying to recover -
I cant remember that much from school, so if anyone knows me and can
help me fill in the blanks i would appreciate an email, and if anyone

the first three years then it was Miss Kyriakides. My favourite teacher
was of course Jim Scragg ( I think he was everyone's favourite) My tutor
group was J (ie. 1J, 2J, 3J etc) I have a sister Robyn who was the year
below me in school. Would love to hear from anyone who remembers me.
There's lots of names i remember from school, Denise Rooke, Maria
McCaffery, Jo Hill, Julie Francis, Charlie Harkin, Richard Bell, Paul
Haines, Tony Godwood, Mark Rollins, Denise Randall, Wendy Barlow,

forever. I moved from the wood some years back and live in South
Yorkshire. Whitesmore was the best time of my life and i loved every

who never married. Attended Lowbrrok primary. i've lost touch with
everyone. Remembered some class mates, Samantha Stevens, Jayne Stowe,

serving police officer. So glad I haven't met any of you in a
professional way (and I mean that in a nice way)!!!!. I was the one

still has his secret cupboard where escapes from the little dears for a
small snifter even now!!!!!!!

struck me and that is the people who have said where has the time
gone....life is so short...there is so much to do....i remember Donna
Platt, she worked part time in Boots....at the time i was a 14yr old wet
round the ears youth....at the time all the boys fancied her....she
wouldn't remember me now, but how would my life have changed if i had
asked her out?...she must be married now with kids, is she still a
stunner?....guess what I'm saying is life never turns out how you
expected, money isn't everything....sometimes you regret the things you
didn't do...by the way how about organising a big party booze up

I attended Whitesmore Comprehensive from 5th September 1969, until June 1973. I was a second Year pupil when I went there, being in Mr. Dockerill's Tutor Group. ( 2F, then 3F), I was also in Mr. Bellamys' Tutor group, ( 4C and 5C). Used to take part in the school plays, under the direction of Mrs. Pat Chadbourne. I also played basketball and cricket for the school and swam for the school. At the time that I attended Whitesmore, I lived in Whitebeam Road, Chelmsley Wood. My younger sister, Mary also attended Whitesmore from 1971 to 1975. I am now aged 48, married with 2 young children and have been working on the Railways since November 12th 1973. I am currently a Train Driver/ Instructor with Chiltern Railways, based at Tyseley Depot. I now live in Acocks Green. My Sister Mary, 18 months younger, is Head Of Human Resources at West Midlands Fire Service, based at Highgate Fire Station in Birmingham. 1978?It was the one and only time that lowbrook won it. The team was
nicholas hooper, richard jeffries, ian george, steven vater, brett

I went from 1975 - 1979 and loved every second of it.........Ok maybe I
exaggerate slightly but we did have some good times I'm sure. Would love to hear from

I attended Whitesmore 1974-1979. I
would love to hear off anyone who attended then. I left the wood when I
finished school. I remember Glenis Kimberley who i did keep in touch for
a while, and Jayne English and Lorraine Donagan, Pauline Friary. I am
married (Goldingay) and live in the Solihull area

Would love to hear from anybody who left 5D (Mrs Reids class), in 1979.
Pupils in this class included Martin Luke, James Bent, Stephen Reece, Janice Fury, Jane
Breimble, Neil Todd, Julie & Dianne Russell and Taryn Valante.
Teachers included Mr Sandle, Mr Parsons - I Moved out of the area three days after I left
school and never came across anybody I went to school with.

Year 78? I have lost touch with everyone, but Roger Hornsby, Steven Reece, Kevin Hughes,
Andrew Manton,
Pat Kimberly, Helen Stone, Mark Tombs and Alan Twom Low are all names that I remember.
