I don't understand where all these poor reviews are coming from. TGI Fridays' Solihull is a great restaurant. I suggest if you go in a  big group to book first but I would suggest that anywhere you go. The food is fantastic, mine has never been cold and it is one of the only places that does spicy food and great grilled food. The cocktails are great, the desserts too. The staff have always been faultless whenever I have been. Sometimes there is a long wait but it is a very busy restaurant with quite a diverse menu. Once you get your food, you forget about the wait and get down to eating!

Have been lots of times-love the food and the atmosphere! It makes a good night out, however, sometimes we have waited donkeys for the food and it has been cold on a number of occasions.

Having eaten in TGI's on more than one occasion, I can state that every visit I have had to Solihull's TGI has been terrible.  Wrong orders, under cooked chicken which was pink, cold food, staff service very poor.  Not a good word from me. I have vowed never to return to the chain again.

Really poor food, we went for a family meal and my kids were served carrot and cucumber sticks which looked as though they had be left out all day. unedible! I was very unimpressed with my overpriced pasta dish. Terrible service.. waited over an hour for food. Took us 10 minutes to find a waitress so we could pay. Never again!

The service here is terrible, we stood and waited for someone to show us to a table and waited and waited. Eventually we had to go and find someone. There were customers inside looking for a waitress to order, but no one was there! When we were eventually served it was ok, just what you would expect from Fridays.

It is a bit expensive im am going there for my birthday in december after that the hippodrome it is the best place and the toilets are weird but amazing go there!!!

Good luck getting served in here, the bar staff are too busy 'bottle juggling' as Kate puts it, to actually make any drinks. Don't expect to wait less than 20 mins at the bar even if its quiet, in fact don't bother going in after 10.30 because you WILL NOT be served before last orders. This place is ridiculous and maybe rather than teaching staff how to flick vodka around and chat up girls, they should remember to teach them some good old customer service!
Favourite: Don't know took too long to order so I gave up.

Guaranteed good time! Enjoyed the cheaper new menu. Cocktails good and we enjoyed the bottle juggling on the bar! Excellent for big parties. Will definitely be going there for our staff night out at christmas!

Food was literally shocking, for the price i would have expected more than burger and chips. A very expensive fast food restaurant, that isn't actually that fast either. Everyone on my table said they would never go again.

Very poor freezer food and over priced at that! Staff with bad attitudes that are more concerned with their appearance than hygiene/service. Load of rubbish! They can hype the atomosphere all they like but its the pits. you might as well go to Burger King!

Out of the 6 times I've been here I've had two bad experiences.
The bad experiences we had were that the food was cold, the plates were dirty underneath and the steak was suppose to be medium and it was rare. We haven't been back since the last bad experience because, after we finally managed to eat the meal the staff avoided us like the plague and we had to wait half an hour for them to fetch the bill.
Good point - The cocktails are really nice, try the June Bug!
