Feilding, Shereefe for maths, baker for games, Cheapshot Lundberg for
science, real cheap Landsbury for music, Goodman for woodwork and who
wanted to wrestle Elks or reminisce on pile-ons down the science block

I attended this school from 1981 - 1984 and i always remember Mr
Adkins and his orange and white camper van, the oldest vehicle in the
school car park. Mr Freeman who was classed as a smurf, used to go
drinking in the Woodmans Rest and he would be in there with a pint.
Miss Bell who everyone took the mickey out of, and Mrs Harman who had
no mercy on us girls and made us play netball in middle of winter in
short gym skirts and PE tops with no jumper, what had we done to
deserve that? school trips included the Royal Show where looking at
farming machinery and livestock made watching paint dry more appealing
and wish you were back in double maths instead, then in the 2nd year
we went to London Zoo. I left at the end of the summer term 84 to go
to Light Hall school where i faired much better academically mostly,
but memories of St Peters do spring to mind at times, and just had a
memory of Sister Attracta and her ferocity, i think she had a rule
book of her own, and b ig stick to go with it, them were the days,
but i did much prefer Light Hall and wish i had done my whole 5 years
there instead. Mr Bryant was my fave teacher, laid back, down to earth
and a sense of humour, something which St Peters teachers seemed to
lack.

My name is David Cooper. I attended St.Peter`s RC school between
`80 & `85 followed by Solihull Tech. I lived on Stonebow Avenue off Widney
Lane and emigrated to Toronto, Canada in `88. Looking for my old friends, Darren Harris -
used to work at Barclays Bank on High Street but I think he might be in Coventry now Simon
Burke - worked at Rover); Pamela Dodd (probably married now,
Daniel Leyland - worked at Lloyds Bank in Solihull
Adrian Maguire, Christopher Hawe, Mark Gregory - lived on Whitefields Road.
Esther Power, Elaine Kelly, Lee Bakewell (Shirley).
When I left Solihull the Masons Arms & the Snooty Fox were very popular. If you have

I left St Peters in 1987. Have been contacted by old school friends
through friends reunited. I went to Our Lady of the Wayside Primary school. I left in 1982
and our year group are having a reunion on 9th Feb meeting in the Woodmans Rest in Shirley
at midday. We need a St Peters Reunion for the class of 87!!

I was at St Peters from 70 to 74 anyone remember me? I remember David
Bocock aka [Bowie], Eamon Oconnor, Jimmy Moore ,Paul Mills, John
Boyle, Neil Tynan, Catherine Bennet-Rice, Helen Stenson, and
Birmingham rose 1976 or 77 Caroline Deehan. Anyone want to talk or how
are you getting on in life, any grandma's and grandad's, or am i the
only one? Love to know how you all are, Saw this site and thought have

Bishop Glancey from roughly 1971 - 1976, Full Name William Hugh
Cooney, twin sister Shelia Cooney, and Younger Sister Angela Cooney.
Huhgie (dad) suddenly passed away August 2007 age 47, we would have
been celebrating his 50th next May 2010, I want to put a album
together to give Shelia his Twin of his life, if anyone knew him, hung
around with him, has school pics, I know he was very good at football,
running etc that could get me some copies It would be great.....Thanks

McCready, Gina keys and Catherine Hickey - we called ourselves the
crimp sisters!! Really had fun at school just wished I'd paid more
attention to the teachers.

Hi I went to St Peters rc from 1975 - to 80. Didn't notice any listing
for that time. Anne Marie Herlihy, Pauline Perkins and Rita Deehan
were in my class, some of the boys were Simon Niblett, Tom Kelly and
Chris Mabbott (who was a good friend of mine along with his bro
Simon). Mr Atkins was head at the time I think and Mr Mullen was
Deputy Oh and Enda his son was in my class also. I live in Ireland
now and my maiden name was Farr. Does anyone out there remember me (i

1980 and I'm still serving.
I now live in Crawley and hoping to leave the Navy soon and take up employment as an

Richards lately ? he was on the sir Galahad in the Falklands 82 conflict, likewise I was
also on a ship out there. Anyway hello to anyone who remembers me. I occasionally get up

can't remember who the form master was but I think we were in one of those pre-fab
classrooms. I have been living in Ireland since 82 and lost touch with everyone. Still
have some relations living in the area but we only meet for weddings and funerals. It

I can't believe you missed me out Shaun - especially as I spent the
entire third year sitting next to you in Mr. Hills Geog. class trying to get a suntan
through the window. I will add two names to the list, John Turriff and Derek Adamson.
My eldest daughter also went to St. P's and is finishing Uni. next summer and my youngest
daughter is currently in residence there along with a couple of "Hemming"
cousins keeping up the family tradition.

I went to St Andrew's Primary School in Hobs Moat then on to St Peter's RC School in
Solihull. I remember names in Primary school such as Geraldine O'Boy, Gina Bygraves, Sarah
Kenny (who was my best friend), Nadia Yaffi and many more. At St Peter's I had a
'crush' on Colin Campbell. My friend had a crush on his mate Ian Griffin! If

Yes I remember the first day Bishop Glancey School opened. I was there as a
year 1 girl along with Leslie Franklyn, Sandra Mabbit, Francesca Moss,
Virginia McHale, Christopher McDonagh, Johnnie Griffin, Michael Rosa, Paul
Edwards (Slim), Colin Finan, Llewelyn Jenkins, Marion Keane, and many more,
also joined later by Angela Wade and Teresa Quinn. Remember well Mr.
Adkins, Mr. Mullen, and Mr. Bond. Also, productions of Iolanthe and The
Pirates of Penzance, and practical jokes played on Mrs. Brandt (German
teacher) when my class was being taught on the wings of the stage. Happy
days!

I was in with the first pupils to attend Bishop Clancey. Mr Atkins was the
H/M and Mr Mullen deputy head. Mr's Bond, Hill, Cushenan were the first
teachers there. Peter White, Peter Bishop, James Larkin, Angela Wright,
Jackie Tutor, Ann Gavin, Ann Taylor were some of my classmates. Be nice to
