Solihull Sports Council
Solihull Sports Council is the collective voice of the voluntary sports clubs in Solihull Metropolitan Borough, working
in partnership with Solihull MBC, West Midlands Sports Federation with direct links to Sport England, West Midlands Sports Board and the CCPR.
Your club is already a member if you have agreed to have your club details included in the Solihull Sports Club Directory currently 170 members. Our activities include first aid, child protection courses for club volunteers, awards for sporting  achievements at club and individual level and grants to encourage participation and club development.
We are now looking for ways to assist clubs to apply for available monies through grant applications from external agencies which would help clubs to meet ever increasing responsibilities, not least in their provision for young people.

Latest Update We are Currently seeking our 2006 award winners for:-
Male Sports personality of the Year, Female Sports Personality of the Year, Team of the year, Volunteer Services
to Sport Disability award, Volunteer Coach of the Year and Young Volunteer of the Year.
A  new award has been introduced this year in to recognise the contribution that young volunteers have made to sport in the Borough The award is the Geoff Sanders award for the young Volunteer
