You Said....

Went for my daughter's birthday 23-10-2011.  Ordered six adult meals and a meal for 22 month old child.  30 minutes later was told by a young waitress 2 meals were not available but the other meals were plated and ready to serve.  Not impressed.  Waitress shrugged her shoulders so asked someone who said she was in charge of what was going on.  She said we could order something else and expected them to wait and everyone else have their meals or would refund for the 2 meals which they did.  No respect for customers. Regular users at this pub but won't be going back.  Whatever happened to customer care training, if any at all.

Very quiet pub & went in a few weeks ago to be charged over a £2 for a diet coke, that came out of a bottle from supermarket. Disgusting really. Then there was a terrible wait for food & served by a chap with glasses who was the assistant manager i think. But he could not be bothered at all. Very sad was a lovely pub in its day

Used to go here regularly so me and my family decided to go for my grandads birthday. The bar staff was grumpy. 6 of us ordered the fish and chips with peas. We waited almost 50mins until it eventually came to the table. Some of us had piping hot food 3 of us had cold food that had to be warmed up. It took 20 minutes for them to re-heat the meals. Was lovely in the end. We wouldnt go again as disappointed.

We went their for my moms birthday the food wasn't great and the bar staff wasn't very friendly didn't even wish my mom happy birthday even though we all was singing to her. Wouldn't go again

Waiting staff are nice and friendly, the food is ok nothing special but reasonable price and quite varied compared to other pub menus.  Bar staff slow to serve, very grumpy, can't cope4 with a busy bar have attitude and would benefit greatly from a sense of humour injection!!
