Forget the karaoke get some live music, and why you turned it into a
bland characterless Solihull wannabe, Get a decent DJ, who plays new
music as well as meatloaf, staff are great.

Beer selection more limited and usually very strong, Everards
selection. Always well kept though pity the advertised web information
is not still true, "to a wide selection of beers, wine and soft drinks.
Beer favourites include Brew XI, Adnams Broadside and Youngs Bitter."
the latter were excellent but no longer available. Was in Camra good beer

After visiting the saddlers arms it has put me off eating out
for quite a while as the food was undercooked and served badly

I recommend the saddlers, the managers are friendly along with the
staff.
The doorman are a laugh, good drink prices, with a happy hour everyday
from 5-8pm and all day Thursday. karaoke every other Thursday and Friday
Saturday nights have a regular DJ. everyone has a laugh and there is
rarely any trouble.
I have been drinking there for a year and had some good times.
definitely recommended!

Used to drink there back in the early 1980s (it was one of three
pubs favoured by staff on the Solihull News) and recently revisited.
Excellent pint (or two) of Tolly Cobbold. Anyone know what it's like on
a Sunday (late afternoon / evening)? It's just that we're looking for a
place to hang out once a month (8-12 people), and we'd rather it wasn't
too crowded / noisy.

It was a lot better before they did it out. Back then it was a
proper pub now it is just another bland wine bar wannabe. None of the
old locals and regulars will go anywhere near it. go there as a last
resort before Rosies youth club, sorry i mean Rosies bar

Used to drink there with the Transco crew after work. Bar staff were
always friendly and it is no longer the bikers pub that everyone thinks
it is!!!

What are they trying to do to the place with table service?
Sort the place out and get in back to being a proper pub!

I won't hear a bad word said about the Saddlers. It's my local & I love
it! The bar staff are the friendliest I know, the drinks are cheap, the
food's cheap & very tasty, the music's great & the doormen are friendly,
welcoming & a great laugh!
The landlord
will have a laugh & a joke with you &
generally I recommend the Saddlers to everyone & anyone. Its a great
night out & although it gets really packed on Thurs, Fri & Sat nights,
this just shows its popularity & is the ideal place to start your night
out! We love you Saddlers!

Been drinking there since we were legal! Always feels like we're
returning home when we visit - friendly staff & clientele. Well worth a
visit!
