Defiantly my favourite place to eat always excellent staff and very friendly i have been on quite a few occasions over the last few years and have never had a bad experience. It is defiantly worth the trip from where i am.

My fave place to eat. Enjoy chilling in the bar area with food. Very relaxed. Food is always excellent as is the service. I find the staff always attentive but not trying to rush you out as with many other places. Always a joy!!

Terrible!! Used to be a lovely country pub with home cooked food, now the service is rubbish and the food well over priced.

Still a regular visitor ( posted August 2004 ) However I have to agree with the last post that the food remains good but the service has definitely gone down. We went in one lunchtime last week and after waiting half an hour for our order to be taken had to go and order from the bar even tho' they knew we had menus and were sitting in the lower bar area. This has happened a few times recently so is not just a one off
