The evening buffet time and service
lacks the professionalism that the wedding breakfast service is given
and you have to double check what you have ordered and your instructions
regarding the management of the cake etc

Such a jewel of a restaurant that
I'm loathe to submit this review in case we're unable to book next time
we want to go! The food is fabulous and the service is exactly how
service should be; efficient, discreet, first class. Certainly the
best all round eating experience currently on offer in Solihull.

Impressive building and gardens. Room
was large but decor and furniture tired. Central Heating did not warm up
the room as windows drafty. Heating didn't come on in morning until
after we had returned from breakfast! Bathroom at first glance was good
but Spa Bath didn't work, unhygenic toilet brush and bath mat.
Bar - waiter didn't know what a Swizzle Stick was for the Dry Martini.
Restaurant - Food excellent and service good at dinner.
Breakfast - Good but hazardous canopy over cold cabinet when reaching
for fruit etc.
When all the improvements to the rooms are made, then the cost per night
will be justified. Despite mentioning the cold room and that the Spa was
not working we were not offered a discount.
