Visited on a Saturday night for the early sitting. The menu variety is  good and the qualty was above average. I would recommend the food but the whole place could do with an update. The restaurant was very very noisy, there is no noise suppression in the place at all. This was not helped by some of the half wits who occupied the bar area and choose to shout at each other. The service was a bit pedestrian. Overall the food was good, if you want to be able to talk to anyone on your table, forget it.

Really impressed with the metro really liked the atmosphere although it was very busy, caters for the smoker, food excellent although small portions. the staff fantastic very attentive

We have been frequent visitors to The  Metro Bar Solihull since its opening, and on every occasion received excellent service and food. It offers a perfect balance of quality and atmosphere, resulting in a venue for all to enjoy.

Had an excellent meal with superb service, even though it was a very busy Saturday night. The atmosphere was lively and the staff were very friendly. Booking is essential as the place was packed. I would thoroughly recommend this eaterie for a good start to a Saturday night out.

Would like to be the first to recommend this FANTASTIC restaurant to anyone considering a embarking on a decent night out in Solihull. The fantastic team, headed by Alistair, Rachel and Andy, make you feel at home the minute you step through the door. They will guide you subtly through the menu, simple yet extensive, and the specials - which are exquisite! The wine list covers all tastes with a bottle to suit all pockets. The atmosphere is more intimate midweek and electric on a Friday and Saturday night. Only grumble, though a positive one, is that the place is not open on a Sunday - what a sin! Should be twenty four hours!! Well done Metro!
