marked by a stone cross on Meriden village green and having a population of aprox 205,600,
Solihull is served by superb road, rail and air links.
The world-famous National Exhibition Centre, hosting more than 100 events and attracting
more than 4 million visitors a year, is just 4 miles from the heart of the Borough. So are
Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International Railway Station.
If you're travelling by road, the M42 motorway passes within 2 miles of the town centre,
providing easy access to the M6, M40 and M5. And if you're feeling energetic, you can even
walk to Solihull along the 80-mile Heart of England way.
Solihull is twined with the French town of Cholet and also Main Taunus-Kreis
in Germany.
