Good trendy place to meet in week (Monday to Wednesday) for quiet
food and drink, On Thursday (8 till 12) Saturday and Sunday (9 till 1)
there are dj's on playing good quality house music. a great addition!
best of both worlds in one bar. The Thursday night dj's i would say are
better play a bit more commercial music you will have heard before!

I love it in there. Loads of girls and the food is superb -
compliments to the chef. I go there every 2 Sundays with my pals Dave
and Steve after I've played football.

Its a good place to go at the weekend but it does get very busy
and takes a bit too long to get served at times.

proper air conditioning and better service at the bar! it takes a bit 2
long 2 get a drink...yeah u get the barstaff on the floor as well but it
can get so rammed in there they can't move! really nice if u manage 2
get one of them big seats near the dorr and toilets! one of teh best

Nice pub with really friendly people. The doormen were polite and
welcoming which makes a pleasant change. The staff are polite and good
at what they do and also offer table service. The atmosphere is friendly
and relaxed with a good mix of people. The pub has lots of entertainment
from various fruit machines to table football (they also had giant jenga
and connect 4 last time i checked). The place is clean and airy with
plenty of seating. The drinks are reasonably priced depending on what
you order with a good selection of beers, bottles and spirits. The food
i think is overpriced for what you get but its not food for a meal but
rather a snack. Overall this place is excellent in the day and on the
evening.

Good beer, friendly staff, slightly too young for myself though.
What ever happened to the older barmaid. I cant keep getting blazed by
girls 5 years younger

Was a good pub - once- before i got Barred. Since I stopped
going- its gone downhill. Quality of Clientele has fallen, an average
girl has 11 piercings.

I love the Monopoly machine. it makes me laugh, I'm from Swindon and
it takes all my money regularly so I can't get home and need to stay at
a young ladies house.

I thought this was a place for older people eg 30s and 40s but to my
surprise it was a good mix, will be sure to visit again soon, plenty of
good looking girls on both sides of the bar

OK, JC may have been a bit hard on them. Agree about the bar maids
though, think they are all quite cute!!

Don't agree with mark foods ok and larger is cheaper than most
places in Solihull and there's a very cute bar maid there so there's all
ways something to look at while your mates are playing on the fruit
machine.

expensive.

Hogs head is great place to start off with on a night out. Good
atmosphere, quite trendy and friendly staff. Everyone should look out
for Sunny...he's my little baby, in other words he is a darling. Also
Andrew the bouncer - good laugh!!!

Always been one of the best in Solihull, but they have started to
play the music far too loud. Other than this its a good bar.

A gay bar in Solihull? The chance would be a fine thing. With the
strength of the pink pound its way past the time there was on in
Solihull! I suppose it would give the blue rinse crowd something to moan
about!

The beer's good, the food's good and they come and serve you at your
table if you want, which is great when there's a big group of us.

What did they close for? It looks exactly the same as before apart from
the awful colours outside! Must have been very distracted when they
chose that colour!

It's nice in here. Good food and comfortable during the day, and good in
the evenings too.
Bex
Best pub for beers in Solihull. What's with playing music that loud so
that it blows your ear drums apart! Needs more ladies to turn up, well
anytime really............
Bluenose
Definitely the best pub in Solihull and perhaps the only one to observe the over-18's
rule!
Robin
Best pub in Solihull until they turn the music up so loud you have to leave.
Mazz
Best pub in Solihull to meet up in, with good decent priced beers. When they turn the
music up so you can't talk any more then move on to somewhere you can at least dance!
Mike
They tend to turn the music up too loud around 10pm. Nice pub, a few little faults, like
the air con. When you sit under that thing you get icicles off your dangly bits. Loads of
nice bar maids though!
Darren
Alright if you like men, seam's to be a men only pub, is this Solihull's only Gay bar?
Larry
Brilliant place to meet your friends and have a good drink, cheap beer all day and big
comfy seats.
Hard House
Newly established in Solihull, with a quiet atmosphere, serving food throughout most of
the day early evening. Plenty of room, with comfortable furniture and quiet music in the
evenings. Great for those who have done hard days work and want to sit back and relax.
