Charles Washburn was the publican of the black swan in the late 19C.
He married Ann Wall. They both came from Newnham near Aston Cantlow. They
had 3 children Walter, Ada and Madeleine. My wife is descended from Ada
Gertrude who married William Enos Pidgeon.
Lynn (MacDougall?), also we have photos of Charles outside the black swan
and photos of his daughter's marriage day. I am also interested in any
photos you have

My grandfather was Bernard Statit who I believe was born in
Henley-in-Arden, certainly grew up there. He married Ivy and they lived in
Sparkhill in Birmingham and they had two daughters Valerie and Sandra.
Anybody know of them?

I intend to do some walking in and around Henley in Arden and I shall
need to park my motorhome which stands 3.5 metres high. Could you please let
me know which central car park(s) are able to accommodate a vehicle this
size?

Hi, My family name is Curtis. I think they were bakers in Henley in
Arden around the turn of the century. I would be grateful if someone knows
anything about them.

My great-great grandfather was Joseph Florance who was born in
Henley-in-Arden in 1842. His parents were Thomas Florance and Margaret Grew.
I have reached a dead-end with my research and if anyone has any info or
ideas that could help, it would be much appreciated.

Lewis Family
My Lewis ancestors were Cooper / Wood Hoop makers of Henley in Arden starting with William
c1767. One branch became tailors staying in Henley, while others moved to Ladywood,
Birmingham. Related families were Shakespeare, Harper, Horton from Henley & Pearce
from Bidford. Any information from descendants would be very welcome. I have a large
family tree.
