I ask why are parents so protective of their children between 3-4pm...and don't seem to care when sme of them at late evening are running around being a nuisance.  We use to walk to school....its pure laziness

Matthew Bond I agree Parish only has so much power, so why are we not using our local Evening Mail and Parish Gazette, to highlight failing parents whom are allowing, their children to make such a nice area continually go down.  Hobs Farm in CB, has under age drinkers, young girls of age 9 wandering around until 10.00pm...and despite the posting that golf is illegal on this site on a beautiful Sunday afternoon we have three lads aged 11-13 aiming golf balls at the houses.  We use to have the community officer around...but as ever at the wrong times. In a day when children go missing I am surprised at so many parents not knowing what their children are up to.  In response to traffic Ted Richards only consulted those on the service road about its closure, are they now going to ask residents all of whom were in favour to pay for the up keep..!!  On the matter of the A452...why for godsake not give longer sentences to those who were driving at 90

The public transport available from the Prakfield Estate to the green lane area is appalling, the only bus service that runs is the 71 and the regularity of that service is also appalling. Although a new service has been put into place, which resulted in the withdrawal of the 92 and 963 bus service, there has been no improvements made to the bus services available to the parkfield estate residents.  I find this an obstacle to get to school in the morning and evening, and with the dark nights drawing in, I am reduced to catching the 94 bus from school and walking home from the green lane area. Not only is this putting young people at risk, but consider the elderly who share the same problem. I hope that something can be changed and quickly!

Re the Collector Road speed limit.  You can now cross the road by car with some safety - previously the 70 brigade (who frequently exceeded this figure) were up you before you could complete the crossing and there was no margin for error - it is worthy of note that there were 4 fatalities and many more accidents previously because drivers thought it was a motorway and not a suburban area. As always these things depend on your point of view - safety like security imposes restricts.

Why have all the major roads in the vicinity of the M6 Toll (including the collector) had their speed limits dropped.

Hello, my name is James Doris, I am Mathew Bond's partner in crime, or at least the second rep for Solihull, I believe he is an extremely key figure in the youth process in our borough and recommend any thoughts should be passed to him as he will ensure all matters are at least addressed at a higher level.

As a member of Castle Bromwich cricket club I feel it is important that you discuss this matter.
As many of us get older we are needing to bring more youth through therefore I ask for a section or link from this page should be made available.

Why has the council taken the speed limit from 70 down to 50 on the Chester road collector road.
It is a duel carriage way which 70 is the national limit. The road is a long slow bend with plenty of time and a unobstructed view at both ends. I they think it is a black spot, use speed cameras. That is what they are meant to be used for.... Is it a way to make us who work in Solihull but live outside this area travel on the M6 forcing more traffic on to the motorway.

I am Matthew Bond United Kingdom Youth Parliament Rep For Solihull and I am also Chairman of Castle Bromwich Youth Parish Council and I would like to point out that the parish council of Castle Brom has only so much power to alter things like slip roads and traffic calming projects. The parish council also has very little money for such projects. The real people behind traffic calming and road planning is Solihull borough council and if anyone has specific concerns i recommend that they either contact me by e - mail and I will point them in the right direction to express there concerns or I will do my best to address these issues myself.

Can anyone tell me how the speed bumps have helped with traffic calming along Green Lane and Auckland Drive? Drivers may have been forced to slow down, in fear of causing damage to their cars when driving over them - but it has become a more common occurrence these days to see drivers swing out into the centre of the road to avoid their car taking the full brunt of the speed bump - this has not helped road safety!

Is anything going to be done about the congestion that builds up around Castle Bromwich infant and junior school between 3pm and 4pm. It is getting out of hand rapidly, surely it isn't going to have to take the death of a child before something is done about it!

When are the parish council going to make the slip road in front of the Chester Arms and row of shops one way. Someone will get seriously injured one day.
