I love widney! I left 2 years ago and I will always remember these things: the dinners (turn  around at the table please!), the school plays, the break times and the teachers! I loved Ms Tomlinson, Mr Shakshaft and Mrs Munton.

After leaving Cranmore in 1999, I went onto Widney and in 2003! .. 6P was such a great class and will never forget the teachers, Mr Penny, Miss Gough and Mr Todman and Miss Wardroper's stories in assembly. Gave me some of the best years so far.. Reunion for the ones who left in 2003 would be great! Windsor all the way !

Miss Cook was my year 6 teacher at Widney in 1993/4!!  I remember Miss Wardroper playing guitar and piano during assembly.. and the dinner lady who always used to say during play-time:  "Doooon't go on the raaaaised aaareaa!!!!" in her northern accent!
Jennifer Porter

I would love to know how Miss Cook is. I heard that she has left Widney.
I left in 2000. Widney was a brilliant school it felt like I was part of the family.
David Carpenter

I am looking for staff and pupils who attended Cranmore Infants School and Widney Junior School and left between 1989 and 1996. I am especially keen to make contact with a Mrs Colburn who worked at Cranmore Infants School in 1991 and left in 1992 I believe. Can anyone help me?
Georgina Sales

1980's

I was at Widney from 1982 - 1986, and loved every minute!!  Mr Todman was great and Miss Wardroper was my favourite teacher.  My own children go there now - well what other school would I choose?  Still has the same family atmosphere we all remember.
Rachel Doyle

1970's

I must have attended cranmore in 72,then on to widney...yes,they were good days...just wish i had some pic`s of more of the faces that make up the memories. Its also nice to pass on to your own nippers. Ive not been back for many years, as i work for a military diving unit in portsmouth, so i have been away all over the world over nearly the past 22 years of service. I didnt leave school with glowing exam results, but ive seen & done some amazing things. Im now 41 & training hard with some of the best men the uk forces have. So does anyone have any bad memories of me? Let me know ,cheers  "Burt "  FDU-1
David Lancaster

I started Cranmore in 1975 and went on to Widney. I loved both schools and still have fond memories. My favourite teacher in Cranmore was Mrs Pooler. Mr Alston was my favourite teacher in Widney. I am 36 now, with three teenagers.

Cranmore Infants / Widney Junior
I am looking for my old friend Lara Abbott. She'll now be aged 33/34.
She attended Cranmore infants school in the early 70's and i think she then moved out of the area before or in the first year of  Widney. I'd so love to see and speak to her again and tell each other how our lives have gone so far.
David Reade
1960's

I attended Cranmore Infants School from 1961-64. I would love to know what happened to my old teachers, Mrs. Emery, Miss Henderson and Mrs. Lloyd, and hear from any pupils of the time.
