Great beer garden in the summer although the beer has got to
be the worst in Solihull. Shame it always has been could be a great pub.

In 2001 This place was amazing. It had Solihull's best crowd and the
music was pure class. Who were the DJ's? I wan to book him for my 18th.

The atmosphere has changed dramatically under new management, used
to be a relaxing and enjoyable. On weekends the music and clientele has
got worse

I usually go for 1 drink just because its got a great beer garden
and music can be quite good but the beer is awful especially the
Fosters.

Beer garden in the summer is good. Popular with students, can get
crowded on
nights.

New management trying to improve the place. There is a good quiz every
Monday night where they give away spot prizes and have a laugh. Worth a
visit.

Always a great Venue in The Summer - Probably best Pub in Solihull.
Could do with better management to keep it more and more lively.. Drinks
offers will work!
Lee (Legend) Lindsay
The beer is rubbish, the Guinness and bitter is too warm, but apart from
that it has a nice beer garden. Barmaids are a bit of alright as well.
Andrew
Now that the place has been refurbished and there are new landlords it's a lot better.
Everybody knows each other in there also. Food and bar prices are reasonable.
The place is also pumping on weekdays now. Beer garden best in Solihull.
Mark
Management changed and seems to be getting a lot better not so many kids anymore!! Good
food and atmosphere is a lot better.

No point of going in the winter, but in the summer, when everyone is outside, you cant
beat it, especially as everyone knows everyone.
Dave
Some unfriendly staff, music is not very good and drinks are quite dear.
The only good thing about it is that everyone knows everyone there if you live around
Solihull.
Aimee
Alright for a drink at night but the music is not brilliant anymore. Used to be great in
the summer with the beer garden but now its overshadowed by Touchwoods car park.
John K
Not a bad place however, it's unbearably full on a Friday night and full of ickle kids,
but not too bad.
Louise
At my first visit to Solihull I visited the above bar had a drink which was fine although
the food that we ordered took over 45mins and for two plates of chips... bit
extreme eh?
Pleasant enough though!
Adam
The beers are quite dear and the staff are rude when they are not working, they ban you
for no apparent reason.
Hard House
Top place with a friendly atmosphere, not like the Masons or Rosie's. One problem is that
there tends to be to many kids there nowadays and the music is a bit too funky to say the
least. Of a lunch time this is definitely one not to miss top grub at a reasonable price

Relaxing pub which is well known for its beer garden on those summer evenings. Small but
friendly with a relaxing atmosphere. Food served during the day.

What happened? It used to be a brilliant pub. The music was brilliant, the girls were
amazing, and the deals were very, very good. But they changed the management, and it has
steadily got worse. What a waste. However, it's still alright and
definitely worth a look
during the summer.

The Solihull sixth form college common room, expensive and rammed, not very good.
