Thought we would try somewhere new as bored of the usual Weatherspoons. The pub looks enticing from the outside but don't be fooled! I asked for potatoes instead of chips with my meal they were happy to offer many alternatives I selected mashed potato. The food came and I still had chips? They were fine to change it. So far ok. The food was disgusting. My boyfriend had chicken and ribs. The sauce was lumpy and the meet was tough. The "vegetables" you get are carrots that are moulding or black around the edges. When my meal finally arrived it had a dead fly in the mashed potato. I hate to think why. Sadly I had the same lumpy sauce. We couldn't leave quick enough and won't be returning!

Very good, thoroughly enjoyed the food, particularly the puddings as they have Cadburys chocolate in! Children love it as well

The staff seem to be zombie like hardly any smiles. There was an awful smell in there and the place looked filthy although there was nobody in there. Also there was too many staff and nobody doing anything.

There is nothing bad to say about this restaurant the food, the atmosphere, the service and the building make this a perfect place for a quick snack and a drink, to a full course meal with all the family.

Absolutely fantastic place.  Lots of room, great food, and fabulous ball den for the kids.  Staff are really welcoming, what more can I say, 5* plus!

Haven't seen Dave in there lately. Hope he hasn't left. He was right sexy!! Food is excellent and the kids are angels when they're there.

Norman Coats, the Cheswick is better than the Pickwick mate! Nah, it's a lovely place to work, drink and eat. Kids 'Deep Sea Den' available so you can chuck your kids in there!!
