We often go for a meal and it is excellent, the food is good, and the staff and the landlord are most helpful.

There was many a night when I was a little too merry to remember who my father was let alone who "Jackie" was, but I have to agree with my brother...never heard of her before!!

Not too bad, rural setting, beer pretty good, bar staff not great, ok for a pint.

Absolutely great. No music! Hope other Licensees follow suit. Food great. A tiny criticism is that the atmosphere is not too fresh! Noticed this before. Could it be position of the toilet? Shall return.

Excellent selection of different ales, bit out in the sticks but worth a visit.

My father, John Wall, was the licensee of this pub for over 30 years until 1987.
If 'Jackie' had been there 17 years, then she/he would have started in 1985, and I have no recollection of anyone called Jackie working at the Bull during our time there.

A 'proper' pub with friendly landlord and excellent service from Jackie (who's been behind the bar there for 17 years!). Super food, super real ale

The Bulls Head at Barston has been voted Pub of the Year by the Solihull Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRE) for the second time in two years. Licensee Martin Bradley and his wife joy were presented with the award by branch chairman Brenda Duffy during a celebration evening at the popular 15th Century village inn. The traditional pub offers a choice of four real ales - Draught Bass, M&B Brew X1, Fullers London Pride and a guest beer from the Punch Tavern listing.
