Very authentic Thai food. I loved the
incredibly beautiful wooden furniture. Service was great, very friendly
people and the aroma once you enter the establishment is simply
intoxicating. The food itself is wonderful but be careful what you
order. If you aren't BIG on the spicy scene, state this fact to your
waitress or waiter, they cook to your special needs. I would recommend
it to anyone who enjoys authentic Thai food. Keep up the good work!

Beau Thai is a strange one. It definitely has its moments, but it also
disappoints. It gives the impression of a Chinese restaurant offering
Thai food in name only - many of the dishes are definitely more Chinese
in style than Thai. Having said that, the not-quite-authentic food is of
decent quality and the service is pretty good. They are a little pricey
for what they offer.

We ate there a couple of times and couldn't fault the
experience - the food was lovely, the setting beautiful, and the service
good and timely, but I have to mark them down for value because we paid
80 quid for a meal for two, then a couple of years later had the exact
same meal at Yuehin in Nechells & paid 25 quid for the pair of us, with
if anything a better level of service. I love the place, but with
competition like that it's hard to justify going back.

for the price you pay. Brilliant atmosphere.

My first time here and I was not disappointed, excellent
decor, food and service. We were made most welcome from the moment we
set foot inside the door till the time we left, this restaurant sets the
benchmark that others should strive to meet. As it was our first
experience at Thai food the front of house guy, I assume the owner,
suggested 2 different set meals, good choice. The food just kept on
coming and every dish was superb, as the husband of the other couple we
went with said, the best meal he had eaten for years, I had to agree.
Go and eat here, you will not be disappointed.

Let me start by saying that I regard this restaurant as being
the best in Solihull. Whether you are a fan of Thai Cuisine or not, the
Beau Thai sets the standard by which other restaurants in the area will
be judged. My wife and I dine here frequently and the experience is
always of a consistently high standard; courteous staff that
unobtrusively attend to your table regularly, a varied and carefully
balanced menu, fresh food always cooked to perfection, charming
surroundings. I have found it necessary to query the bill on several
occasions fearing that I'd been undercharged (shock, Undercharged) as my
mind has a hard time reconciling the amount of food and drinks we get
through in an evening with the insignificant bill that follows. A
wonderful contrast to other wallet-busting restaurants in Solihull. You
will not find a better Thai restaurant this side of Bangkok
International Airport. Thoroughly recommended!

Our favourite restaurant in Solihull and we feel that the
refurb has only improved an excellent dining experience. It reminds us
of the holiday we had in Thailand and the decor truly matches the
quality of the food, which is totally authentic unlike some other Thai
restaurants.

Having eaten here many times before, I returned after a
couple of years expecting it to be as good as usual. It had been
refurbed which was lovely, but the food was very disappointing, the
service was ok, but the food portions were very small and the main meal
came straight after the starter! I had the sweet and sour king prawns
and and it was horrible, it had been totally caramelised, I've had this
dish before and it was beautiful, I think that they have changed the
chef, bring back the old one! What a waste of money ,I will never return
again.

The quality of the food was very good and reasonably priced. However
the service was poor, you should not have to ask for the bill three
times and chase Staff to pay for the meal.

We had a set menu and had more than enough food but we felt the
quality was average and service fairly poor. We waited half an hour for
the bill and had to ask twice for it. The Thai Village in Knowle is far
superior.

Having lived and eaten in Thailand and visited all the Thai restaurants
often with visitors from Thailand the Beau Thai stands head and

1st class restaurant. Excellent food and service. We have recommended
this restaurant to many people who also have returned time after time.
I also like the fact it is cooked from fresh and they can alter it to
your liking!

In my opinion this is Solihull's finest restaurant. In simple English
the food is absolutely fantastic - probably because the ingredients they
use are first-class. I lived in Solihull for many years without
realising this jewel was right under our noses. Go!
