2000's

I started school in yr 2000 - 2005. I was the quiet one (apart from when I was with my friends), but not now! Since I've left; I've performed in theatres and that. But I will always remember the friends I've made over the years and great moments during the breaks!  If we're to have a reunion, I reckon ex pupils that were in my year will be surprised to see how much I have changed =) But over all; I do not miss the school at all!
Danielle Asbury

Heh, the only person who's name I recognise on here I already have on Facebook. Hi Chris! I'd welcome a class of 2000 reunion, would be good to see what happened to everyone.
Alex Fraser

Hey people, well I've only just left school (2002 - 2007) i had the time of my life, it's the best school by far and I'm so glad that I went there. I remember when I was a little year 7 trying to fit in, wishing that I was in year 11 and leaving. Now look at me, I've left and I really want to go back I miss it so much, probably not the educational part but seeing all of my best mates every day!!!!!! Everyone's great there it's one big happy family!!!!  Hope there is a reunion in the future because I definitely go. Good luck to everybody and I love and miss you all.

June 2002 i left Alderbrook due to the fact that i moved back to Canada. I loved Alderbrook. My friends were great, the lessons were fun and the teachers are so wonderful! I would come back to Alderbrook, to England in fact, any chance I can in order to see all my friends again. Overall Alderbrook was the best school I've ever been to mainly because of the friendly and inviting people that are there. Finally I'd like to wish my year good luck on their gcse's that they're writing at the moment!
Olivia Petrou

I left Alderbrook school in 2002 because my mum wanted to move down to bexhill by the sea. I didn't want to move down there but I had to. The school was a lovely school and I would go back there anytime, but I have only got a year and a half at school left, so there will be no point. I really miss it down in Hall Green Because it's a really nice place to live. Alderbrook school is a very organised school and it's really good.

I left Alderbrook in 2002, was in E, and love it. Strange how you realise how lucky you were when it's too late. Alderbrook had such a caring environment where i made some great friends and learnt so much from superb teachers. I'm now studying for my degree, living in London and have never been happier....but wasn't life so carefree and exciting at school! I miss it dearly and hope everyone else feels the same, especially science with mr Jenks-you made science bearable sir! Sally

I stuck some holiday and school/prom pictures on my site:

I was a pupil at Alderbrook from 1993 - 1998. I just wanted to mention that I miss a lot of my friends I had, although I see the ones that mean the most. If you remember me, give us a bell - not a nasty one please, I was a bit of a cow!
Gemma Fitzhenry

Dear Class of '94, hope you're all keeping well. I'll remember my time at Alderbrook as a real learning experience! A few regrets but mostly happy memories. Thank you to Mrs Wild for her fun History lessons. Thanks also to Mr Jenks and Mr Beaumont - for their perseverance! Best wishes, especially to Si, Ewan, James, Richard, Karl & Chris - hope you're all ok.

Hi, I went to Alderbrook School between 1980 - 1985.  I emigrated to Australia more than 18 years ago so I never see anyone.  I met up with Jo Lowe, Claire Morgan & Claire Woodward 2 years ago when i returned but haven't seen or heard about anyone else.  If you went to the school during those years, would love to hear from you, even organise a reunion. Cheers

I went back to Alderbrook recently and it brought back a host of memories. I was there from 73 to 78. I can remember the first year I was there it was Harold Malley school and the sixth formers wore suits and we 1st year students thought they were very grown up and sophisticated.  A 17 year old in a suit now seems anachronistic. My nieces are both at Alderbrook nowadays, so I still have some connection, although I now live in London
Mark Bickerton

I started at Alderbrook in 1974 that was the first year the school changed its name. I hated school then but when I look back at the good times I had and made some great friends along the way: Mike Chambers, Karl Riedal, Jo Muxlow, Phil Honour,  Steve Soames to name but a few.  We all stayed together until around our mid 20s. Sadly we all have gone our separate ways.
