and my head of faculty was Mike Padbury.

SSFC between 1987 - 1989. I am trying to track down Mr Bradshaw (Rob), a
fabulous English teacher. Does anyone remember him or know of his

I was
at SSF from 82 to 84 and originated from Langley Comp. I live in Cheadle
Hulme, Cheshire now with my two little boys. Been married, divorced,
recently obtained a law degree and presently studying LPC whilst working
full time. Would love to hear from anyone at college at the same time
as me.

Was at
Harold Malley / Alderbrook from 72-77 then college until 79. Anybody
remember the crazy "special effects" demo that nearly blew the doors off
the lecture theatre? That was the brainchild of Pete Tyler, with me
plus Simon Whittle, Dave Thomas, Martin Weetman and a good few others.
I'm still just about in touch with Pete, but where are the rest of you?
I would publish a group photo, but the hair is simply too embarrassing!

I was
in that first intake, does anyone remember playing in the college
football team that got to a final in that first year. Also the notorious
tour to Besancon (I did get home ok, thanks for asking) What was the
name of the teacher arrested by French police? Love to hear from anyone
that knew me.

Blow me, what a site for all the ex pats in particular. Now living in
Auckland N.Z.
Attended SSFC between 1977-79 still in touch with a few folk from back then. Failed
Physics A level as a result of writing a good part of the rag mag that year. Names come
wandering back....Nick Thompson, Matt the vet, Jayne, Andy Muddiman, Dave Coates, The band
- Drain on the balcony. Did Biology with Mike Hutchison, Physics? John Richard(son) ?? and
geography with Mr McMurtrie all a long time ago... Does anyone remember "Reg"
the caretaker? Is anyone living in NZ ?

I attended Harold Cartwright Grammar School/Alderbrook School from 1972-1977, then
Solihull VIth Form College and Solihull Tech. Would like to hear from anyone who was there
around the same time. My first form teacher was Miss Halsall, later she became Mrs Meager
I think. Then I was in 2RO, 3D, 4D etc I think...It's all getting a bit hazy.. I still
live around 20 mins from Solihull

We were in the first 'intake' at Solihull VIth Form College. Prior to
that Tricia was at Malvern Hall & Keith was at Tudor Grange. It was really good that
first year - and the freshly-made scones were particularly nice.
